Mission Statement
We exist to raise up a generation of Kingdom-minded, Spirit-filled students who walk in their God-given identity, healing, and bold faith. Our mission is to provide an excellent K–12 education rooted in biblical truth and empowered by the Holy Spirit, equipping students spiritually, academically, and practically to impact every sphere of society through the power of the Gospel. We will partner with families and the local church to disciple and train young people, cultivating their gifts and sending them out to carry the presence of God and bring transformation to their communities and nations for the glory of God and His creation so that they can obediently serve God and others as they work and play.
Purpose of The ARC Christian Academy
The purpose of The ARC Christian Academy is to provide and promote a biblically based, Christ-centered education from kindergarten through twelfth grade. We nurture children in the ways of the Lord, helping them grow as disciples of Jesus who are equipped with vision, wisdom, discernment, and a heart for service, so they may bring every area of life under the authority of Jesus Christ. Through all that we do, we desire to help transform lives and transform our community for the glory of God.
We believe that the education of children is primarily the responsibility of parents. The ARC Christian Academy, in covenant partnership with Christian families, educates students from a perspective rooted in the truth of God’s Word, as understood through a biblical worldview—both through faithful teaching and the demonstration of the Word of God in everyday life.
The ARC Christian Academy is governed and supported by a community of believers who are united in their commitment to provide Christ-centered education. This community includes parents and members of the Christian body, who are called to support and nurture the training of children. By enrolling their children, parents entrust the school’s leadership—the board of trustees and the head of school—with the authority to faithfully carry out this mission. Teachers and parents work together in mutual respect and unity to raise up a generation devoted to Jesus Christ.
As a biblically sound Christian school, The ARC Christian Academy affirms the central importance of the relationship between God and His people in Christ—and the Kingdom of God—Christ’s rule over all creation. We recognize children are a gift from God. Therefore, our goal is to educate them for obedient discipleship and joyful service, so that every part of their lives reflects the Lordship of Jesus.
While all believers share in the responsibility for the spiritual development of children, the unique role of The ARC Christian Academy is to advance this growth through formal education. In prayerful fellowship with God and His people, our teachers lead students to discover and understand all aspects of God’s creation. They help children develop both academic skills and Christian character, always watching for opportunities to encourage Christ-like attitudes and behavior. Teachers are to cultivate a passion for God’s Kingdom, identify and nurture each student’s God-given gifts, and be faithful examples of godliness and wisdom.
Every member of The ARC Christian Academy community is called to live out the character of Christ and to love and obey God. All relationships—between students, teachers, parents, and leaders—are shaped and evaluated within the context of God’s covenant and Christ’s Kingdom.
We exist to bring glory and honor to God’s Name in all that we teach and do. The ARC Christian Academy is committed to nurturing each student’s spiritual, academic, emotional, physical, and social development, forming whole disciples who live for the glory of God. Our ultimate mission is transformation—of hearts, of homes, and of our surrounding community—by the power and truth of Jesus Christ.
Statement of Faith
Statement of Faith for The ARC Christian Academy, reflecting a Spirit-filled, Kingdom-minded foundation:
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith, life, and conduct.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
God
We believe in one true and living God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ—His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His future return in power and glory.
(John 1:1–14; Colossians 1:15–20; Acts 1:9–11)
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Through repentance and faith, we are born again, justified, and adopted as children of God.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 10:9–10; John 3:3–7)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers with spiritual gifts, convicts of sin, leads into truth, and sanctifies the Church. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues and the ongoing operation of the gifts of the Spirit.
(Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1–4; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11; John 16:13)
Healing and Deliverance
We believe that healing and deliverance are part of the atonement of Jesus Christ and are available to every believer through faith.
(Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16–17; Mark 16:17–18)
The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship God, disciple believers, equip the saints, and bring the Gospel of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth; either it be in your home, in your church, or to the marketplace.
(Ephesians 4:11–13; Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:42–47)
The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to reign in glory and in the final resurrection and judgment of the just and unjust.
(1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Revelation 22:12; Matthew 25:31–46)
